FKA twigs x Nike – do you believe in more?

FKA twings ha ideato, diretto e realizzato una collezione di lavori per mettere in luce il potere del movimento e definire lo sport come un importante canale di espressione.

When Nike first came to me with this project, I saw it as an opportunity to let young people know they have the power to become the best versions of themselves.

Ogni essere umano, se in sintonia con se stesso e focalizzato per raggiungere un obiettivo, può allenarsi e realizzare i propri obiettivi.

It’s the same with being creative. You can work so hard on a creative project for over a year — you were in the studio until 4 a.m., maybe you had to get your friends to help you. Then there’s the moment before you let it go out into the world. And once you release it, that's it.

I wanted people to see someone like Saskia Horton, who plays classical violin and does krumping — these two different worlds — and think, "I could do that." I’ve known her since she was 16. She's so meticulous in her training and writes amazing dance diaries, exploring her craft. By taking dance so seriously, she is really inspirational to the young people who follow her.
